When using Electrical Muscle Stimulation, it is important
to remember that your muscles are doing the same amount of
work they would do with "natural" exercise - so it
is vital that you do not over do it.
For example, if you can only perform 20 situps before becoming
sore or fatigued, then you should not attempt to use EMS on
your abdominals for more than a short period of around 5 -10
minutes, to start off.
We recommend starting off slowly, and progessing over a period
of weeks.
